Fairfield Inn & Suites Madison East, WI was named the 2012 Property of the Year last week at the annual Fairfield Brand Conference. The hotel won a total of two awards, including the highest honors of Property of the Year. The hotel also achieved the Diamond Award for being in the top 3% of the Fairfield brand in Service Scores.

Property of the Year is awarded to one hotel in the Fairfield brand that is also a Diamond Award winner, has been open for two full years, is in the top 5% of the brand for Overall Satisfaction Scores, and several other operational criteria set by the Fairfield brand.

This is the second year in a row an NCG hotel has won Property of the Year, last year the Fairfield Inn & Suites Rockford, IL won this prestigious award.

Middleton, WI November 6, 2012 – North Central Group, owners, developers and operators of more than 30 hotels under the Hilton and Marriott franchise brands, unveiled a new logo last week. North Central Group (NCG) is headquartered in Middleton, WI, and the business owns and manages nine hotels in the greater Madison area.

The new logo was created looking to the future as well as giving a nod to the past as there are some similarities to NCGs first logo 31 years ago. “There were elements from the logo in 1981 such as a three dimensional look that were very appealing and we wanted to build upon that with the new logo, and I feel we have accomplished that and more” said Jeff Lenz, President and Chief Development Officer. The new logo exemplifies excellence and a strong foundation while also demonstrating change and flexibility as one of the company’s strongest assets. “North Central Group was built on a solid foundation of enduring principles and a long-term vision of excellence. One of our core values is flexibility and NCG prides itself on our willingness to embrace change. Our new logo is a great example of this concept as it symbolically represents the “building blocks” we believe are critical to our success and at the same time allows us the “flexibility to change” the look and feel providing a way to leverage our logo in a classic yet distinctive look as we prepare for the next generation of hospitality” stated Jonathan Bogatay, Chief Executive Office of North Central Group.
